6th Grade-
Monday: Discussed worksheets- Assignment: Work on solar system packet-Use the internet if you need.  There are a couple of sites on my blog you can try. 
Tuesday: Go over packets. Discuss Eclipses if time permits. Both packets should be turned in before school if you are going to Jazz. Assignment: Chapter 21 SG Packet.  Moon Phase Quiz on Thursday.
Wednesday: Chapter 21 SG Due. Finish up with Chapter 21. Assignment: Study!  Test on Monday over Chapter 21 notes
Thursday: Moon Phase Quiz.
Friday: Review

8th Grade-
Monday: Discusssed Mitosis/Meiosis-Chapter Review Due Tuesday! If you are going to Jazz turn in your assignment before school.
Tuesday: Chapter Review Due. Animations/videos of Mitosis and Meiosis.  Do practice Quiz on Blog.  Discussion.  Vocab due Wednesday. 
Wednesday: Vocab due. Chapter 16 test on Monday
Thursday: Review
Friday: Review

May 3-7

6th Grade-
Monday: Discussed Chapter 20 space missions intro to Space. Crossword vocab.
Tuesday: The Earth and her neighbors packet. Students have the entire class to complete. Homework if not completed. Due Wednesday.
Wednesday: Chapter 21Sun-Earth-Moon Systems-Began moon Phases. Study Quiz notes for quiz on Friday. 
Thursday: Chapter 21Sun-Earth-Moon Systems-Worksheets
Friday: Chapter 21Sun-Earth-Moon Systems-Worksheets. Take home Rock test to correct-return it on Monday.
8th Grade-
Monday: Mitosis/meiosis notes. 
Tuesday: Field trip to Oceans.  Drawings of mitosis and meiosis due Wednesday with descriptions.
Wednesday: Mitosis/Meiosis/DNA-Discussed notes. Study note material.
Thursday: Mitosis/Meiosis/DNA-Worksheets
Friday: Mitosis/Meiosis/DNA-Worksheets-Read Booklet. Ch. review in the book.

April 26-30

6th Grade-
Monday:  Chapter Review/Reinforcement worksheets.  Chapter 10 Rocks test on Friday. Study vocab and worksheets.
Tuesday:  In Class assignment.  Study vocab and worksheets.  Chapter 10 Rocks test on Friday.
Wednesday: Discuss in class assignment.  Review for test. Study vocab and worksheets.
Thursday: Review for test. 
Friday: Chapter 10 Test.

8th Grade-
Monday: Field trip money. Must be turned in by Tuesday. Presentations. Quiz over vertebrates on Tuesday. 
Tuesday: Collect field trip money. Hand in vocab term pages in the bin. Vertebrate quiz.  Hand out new vocab for quizzes this week.  Review vocab for Thursday and Friday's Quizzes. Quiz on Thursday over Sponges and Coelenterates.  Quiz over Mollusks and Echinoderms on Friday.
Wednesday: Finish presentations. Review.
Thursday: Quiz over Sponges and Coelentrates.
Friday:  Quiz over Mollusks and Echinoderms.

April 19-23

6th Grade-
Monday:  Previewed Chapter 10.1 -Discussed in class. Oral check-Section 1 assessment.
Assignment: Draw, label and color code the rock cycle on page 267. No markers. Due Tuesday.
Tuesday:  Collect rock cycle pictures.Chapter 10 SG Worksheets. Due at the end of Class. Students have the entire class period to work. Read Section 2-do section 2 assessment-due Wednesday. 6C-Turn in your section 1 assessment in the bin.
Wednesday: Go over worksheets-discuss.  Discuss Chapter 10.2 in class. Assignment: Rock cycle and Forming igneous rocks Worksheets due Thursday. Go to the volcano site to help you with the assignment.
Thursday: Reinforcement pages due Friday.  Students have the entire class period to work. 
Friday: Discuss worksheets. (Didn't get through all of them will go over on Monday.)  Discuss section 3 & 4

8th Grade-
Monday:  Began presenting project. Fish terms due Tuesday. Turn in your term worksheets.
Tuesday: Fish terms due. Hand out Amphibian and Reptile Terms. Due on Wednesday.
Wednesday:  We will be presenting.  Hand out terms to know for test on Tuesday of next week. 
Thursday:  Animal games-from projects and Invertebrate/vertebtrate classification challenge
Friday: Complete presentations.  Quiz over vertebrates on Tuesday.

April 12-16 *UPDATED*

6th Grade-
Monday:  Mineral observing. Mineral Test on Thursday. Read/review Ch. 9. and notes.
Tuesday:  Do Chapter 9 book review in class.  1-15 do in class.  16-25 discuss in class. 
Wednesday:  Review for test on Thursday.
Thursday:  Mineral test 
Friday:  Read Rock Chapter in Class. Do all vocabulary notecards. Do Section 1 assessment.
8th Grade-
Monday:  Class work day for project. Remember project is due on Wednesday. If you have any last minute questions you need to ask today!!! Be ready to present to the class on Wednesday.
Tuesday:  Last day to work on Project in class. Due at the beginning of class on Wednesday.
Wednesday:  Project due. Presenting projects.
Thursday:  No presentations today. Will finish begin them on Monday. Worksheets in class?  Swap and read reports quietly in class.
Friday:  Swap and read reports quietly in class.
