6th Grade-
Monday: Previewed Chapter 10.1 -Discussed in class. Oral check-Section 1 assessment.
Assignment: Draw, label and color code the rock cycle on page 267. No markers. Due Tuesday.
Tuesday: Collect rock cycle pictures.Chapter 10 SG Worksheets. Due at the end of Class. Students have the entire class period to work. Read Section 2-do section 2 assessment-due Wednesday. 6C-Turn in your section 1 assessment in the bin.
Wednesday: Go over worksheets-discuss. Discuss Chapter 10.2 in class. Assignment: Rock cycle and Forming igneous rocks Worksheets due Thursday. Go to the volcano site to help you with the assignment.
Thursday: Reinforcement pages due Friday. Students have the entire class period to work.
Friday: Discuss worksheets. (Didn't get through all of them will go over on Monday.) Discuss section 3 & 4
8th Grade-
Monday: Began presenting project. Fish terms due Tuesday. Turn in your term worksheets.
Tuesday: Fish terms due. Hand out Amphibian and Reptile Terms. Due on Wednesday.
Wednesday: We will be presenting. Hand out terms to know for test on Tuesday of next week.
Thursday: Animal games-from projects and Invertebrate/vertebtrate classification challenge
Friday: Complete presentations. Quiz over vertebrates on Tuesday.
