6th Grade -
Monday - Ch. 12 Atmosphere Test.

Tuesday - Chapter 13.1 Review and discuss study techniques to use with the text book. (Preview points)- What You'll Learn, Find Vocabulary, Read the Captions for the Pictures and Section Figures, Read Headings, Read Section Assessment Questions, and Chapter Review Main Ideas. Assignment: Preview Points for Section 1. (3-5 minutes). Read Section 1. Quiz on Thursday over section 1!

Wednesday - Review points of Section 1 -(3-5 minutes). Watched science video clips-discussions. Assignment: Preview Points of Section 1, Do Section 1 assessment questions 1-5. Due Thursday! Preview points for section 2. Quiz over section 1 on Thursday.

Thursday - Quiz over section 1. Discussed Previewing techniques. Watched video clips. Assignment: Preview points for Section 1 and 2. Read section 2 and do section 2 assessment questions.

Friday - Check Section 1 and 2 assessment questions. Preview section 1 and section 2. Quiz. Assignment: Preview section 1, 2, and 3. Due section 3 assessment questions 1-3. Questions due Monday.

8th grade -
Monday - Chapter 6 Motion Test.

Tuesday - Reviewed/discussed study techniques to use with the text book. (Preview Points). What you'll learn, headings, captions, figure, and pictures, vocabulary words, Section assessments, and chapter review main ideas. Assignment: Section 1 review points and read section 1. Do the section 1 assessment questions-due Wednesday. Quiz on Friday.

Wednesday - Went over section 1 & 2 review points. Briefly discussed formulas for tomorrows lesson. Assignment: Preview sections 1 & 2. Read section 2. Write formulas 10 x's each.

Thursday - Preview sections 1 & 2. Practiced formulas. Assignment: Preview sections 1 & 2. Read section 2 again. Practice problem on page 185.

Friday - Review points section 1, 2 (On their own). Quiz. Show video clips. They may have their snacks and drink. No candy, soda, or energy drinks. Assignment: Review points 1, 2, and due section assessment questions 1- 3. Review points for Section 3 and read the section. Due Monday. All Chapter 7 vocabulary-Due Tuesday.
