6th Grade -
Monday - Constructing their mountains on the class model. Handed in write-up of their mountain topic and Chapter 8.2-3 section assessment. Assigned write- up of the volcanic topic they were given-Due Tuesday. Assigned volcano packet Due Wednesday-use your notes! Test is Friday!

Tuesday - models should be completed today-Wednesday will be the very last day for students to work on these models. Remember to look over your rubric-it tells you how your model is going to be graded. Assign worksheet-map page-blue sheet-Due Wednesday-we will go over it in class. If you have questions on this page we will discuss it in class on Wednesday. Updated!!!! Volcano/Landforms Test is Friday! "Lines Test" is Monday!!! See me if you need extra help studying!!! Friday - Landforms test. Study for "Lines Test"Test will be Tuesday. What's News is due on February 13th.


8th Grade -
Monday - Handed in Chapter review from the book. Experiments: Observing the chemical reactions of vinegar and baking soda Making plastics -vinegar and milk. Just a little smelly!!! Students were to do a write-up about each of their experiments completely describing their observations of the chemical reactions (worksheet). Most students turned this in. Test on Wednesday!! See me if you need extra help studying!!!

Tuesday - Go over Chapter review and balancing equations. Answer any questions pertaining to the test. Updated!! Chapter 5 test is Thursday!!!

Wednesday - Updated!! Review for test on Friday!! Be prepared!!

Thursday - Chapter 5 Test Today!!

Friday - Begin a new unit Energy, motion, and forces. Notes. Vocabulary. Assignment: vocabulary-Directions will be given on Friday. UPDATED!! Ch. 6 Motion-Vocab. Mini-book. Follow the directions. On the left side of the book you should have the word, definition, and real life example on the top half of the page. Onthe right side of the page you will be drawing a picture relating to the vocabulary word. Must have color, Title page, correct spelling, correct label in the correct spot, and the words should be in section order of the chapter. The following needs to be complete in your mini-book by Monday: Words, Definitions, and Real life examples. If you complete the book correctly for Monday, I will give you 5 points extra credit. I am looking forward to seeing some wonderful books!!! What's News is due February 6th!!!
