6th Grade - EXTRA, EXTRA CREDIT!!!! Explain the details of the topic you constructed to one of your parents, older sibling, or grandparent! Have them initial your agenda for 3 points extra credit!!!!! Due by Friday!!!
Monday -No School.

Tuesday - Reviewed topics in Chapter 5 to stimulate working on in class project-topic plains and plateaus. Assignment-Attempt Maps worksheet (Introducing New concepts) and write-up about your group topic. Each student is to write a descriptive paragraph about the topic they were working on in class (Coastal plains, Interior plains, or Plateaus). Due Wednesday.

Wednesday - Views of the Earth worksheet-8 questions due Thursday. Students were to complete their construction of their plains and plateaus today. Tomorrow we will begin a new topic of construction-Igneous rock features. You will be given new groups to work in for this topic (5 groups).

Thursday - Chalk talk! One paragraph Write-up about the topic you were constructing in class today. Due Friday. Groups will be divided between Sill, batholiths, volcanic neck, caldera, and dikes.

Friday- Chalk talk! Hand in Write-up. Finish constructing Igneous rock features and begin new topic-Mountains. Write one paragraph about the mountain topics you are given. Due Monday. UPDATED!! Read 8.2 and 8.3. Do section assessments 8.2 questions 1-3 and Section 8.3 questions 1-4. Due Monday! Tuesday should be the last day to complete your construction of your landform model. What's News # 5 is due February 13th. Science Topic Should be about earthquakes. Test-January 30th!!

Monday - No School.

Tuesday - Chalk Talk! Re-Watched the chemical Reaction video to review. Discussed video questions. Number 6 was reassigned along with a worksheet for Wednesday.

Wednesday - Chalk Talk! Discussed Question 6 and graded worksheet. Assigned worksheet Due tomorrow. Discussed topics and assignments that students need to study for their test. Discussed items needed for experiments on Friday. (paperplates, whipping cream, milk, vinegar, and bread) Chapter 5 Test-January 27th or 28th.

Thursday -Chalk Talk! Go over review worksheet. Remember to bring in supplies for the experiments on Friday! Remember to study for the test! 6th hour class- Do 1-15 Chapter Review on page 143. Due Friday.

Friday - We will work on experiments!!! Make sure I have all supplies by Friday morning!! UPDATED!!! Complete chapter 5 review in the book. Due Monday. What's News # 5 is Due February 6th. Science topic should be about energy, motion, or force. Chapter 5 Test-January 28th or 29th!!
