6th Grade - Friday-Discussed how to improve study habits for tests. Corrected Earthquake test. Practice study techniques. Students to retake test on Monday. Parent signature on test.
Monday - Retake Earthquake test. Begin answering the questions on the atmosphere packet to prepare for your mini-book. Remember to read one question at a time, then read the section that relates to the question. Remember to find the section by looking for clue words in your questions. Take your time and don't rush! :-)
Tuesday - Go over the questions from Section 1 & 2. Answer any questions. Mini-book details should be given on this day if time permits (not homework tonight). Due Monday March 9th. Section 3 questions to be answered if there is not time to work on them in class.
Wednesday -All section questions should be completed by today. Briefly go over section questions. Answer any questions. Begin mini-book (In class work at this time.)
Thursday - Answer any questions. Work on mini-book. Students may take their mini-book home tonight to work on. UPDATE!!!!!! Don't worry about the mini-book if you do not understand the directions. I don't want you to stress out about the in class assignment - it is suppose to be a fun project that wasn't difficult. Read the chapter and make sure you have the section assessments completed. If you understand how to put one vocabulary word and the definition on the left page you should work on that for the mini-book. I will give you a new due date when I return on Monday, March 9th.
Friday - Work on mini-book. Due Monday! What's news #6 due March 20th. Topic: Plant or animal cells. UPDATE!!!Bring in your article on Monday, March 9th.
8th Grade -
Friday - 4th hour - Reviewed ball dropping graphs. Good job! Review the graphs and formula we used for the ball drop lab. You will be using the same process for a future assignment. Since we did not have time to complete the entire lab on Friday, we will complete it when I return.

4th & 6th hour - Monday - Worksheet packet about motion. Should be in class work unless students are not using their time wisely. If students use their time wisely and cooperate there will be a lab on Friday!!! Work hard and be respectful!! :-) (I know you will, but I just have to remind you.)
Tuesday - Finish packet if it wasn't completed Monday. Begin second packet. Should be in class work unless students are not using their time wisely.
Wednesday - Finish packet if it was not completed on Tuesday. What's News #6 due March 13th. Topic: Newtons Laws.
Thursday - Watch motion video if time permits. Review acceleration formula for lab work on Friday.
