6th Grade -
Monday - No School!!!
Tuesday - Begin Ch. 15- Structure of Organisms. Preview-15.1 and discussed topics. Assignment: Mini-poster of 15.1. Create your own poster any way you would like on one side of the paper. Must have the four (4) vocabulary words, six (6) scientists and give a brief summary of each one, and answer the following three (3) questions- How was the cell theory discovered? What is the cell theory? Why is the cell theory important? Due- Wednesday, April 14th.
Wednesday - Discuss the Ch. 15.1 mini-poster. Notes. Assignment: Study notes and preview ch. 15.2 fo tomorrow.
Thursday - Notes. Assignment: Plant and animal crossword is due on Friday, April 17th. Plant, animal, and nucleus cell drawings- Label all parts (21 pts), all jobs (21 pts), all parts drawn (21 pts), Title (5 pts), Proper Heading (3 pts), color(10 pts), neat(10 pts), Nucleus (9 pts)-total pts: 100. Due - Monday, April 20th.
Friday - Notes. Egg/Cell activity!!!!!
8th Grade -
Monday - No School!!!
Tuesday - Discussed Cell Parts and their jobs. Notes. Quiz on Friday!!!
Wednesday - Notes. Discussed cell parts. Plant and animal Crossword puzzle due at the end of class. Quiz on Friday!!!! Assignment: Plant and animal drawings due Thursday at the end of class (100 pts).
Thursday - Completed the plant and animal cell drawings. Quiz over plant and animal cells tomorrow!!!!
Friday - Quiz!!!! Egg/cell activity!!!!! Preview Chapter 15.
