Monday - Ch. 15-Cell Organization. Review Section 1 . Discuss Notes. Assignment: Write a paragraph explaining cell organization-(funny if possible)-cell-tissue-organ-organ system. Share in class on Tuesday.
Tuesday - Share paragraphs orally. Notes and discussions about viruses. Assignment: Do assessment 15.2, 1-3. Preview and read Section 3. Possible test next Wednesday.
Wednesday - Pop Quiz! Discuss Section assessment 15.2. Begin the reproduction of a virus notes and discussion. Assignment: Virus Reproduction Poster. Label, Title, description and color. Due Thursday.
Thursday - Pop Quiz! No Quiz. Hand in Posters. Complete virus notes Section assessment 15.3, 1-4 Discussed in class. Due Friday. Assignment: 1 worksheet due tomorrow.
Friday - Earthday activity. Due at the end of class. Worksheet due on Monday.
8th Grade -
Monday - Corrected the Quiz. Began reading chapter 15 in class. Assignment: Read printed notes for Chapter 15.
Tuesday - Short 3 point pop quiz. Read Section 15.2. Review and explain printed notes students were given to study. Assignment: Read and study printed notes. Make notecards of the vocabulary words-12. Due Wednesday.
Wednesday - Pop Quiz-9 points. Discuss more notes. Assignment: Section 15.2, 1-4. Due at the end of class. Read and study printed notes. Possible test at the end of next week.
Thursday - Discuss Chapter 15.2, 1-4. Begin discussing notes for Section 15.3. Assignment: Section 15.3 assessment due at the end of class.
Friday - Earth day activity. Read why we need to save energy. Make a Poster- in class work. Due at the end of class.
