October 12-16

6th Grade -
Monday:  No School!  Hope you enjoyed your day!
Tuesday:  Discussed Length/capacity/time/weight test.  Students that recieved less than a C- need to see Mrs. Hunter this week for additional review either before school or at study hall.  We are moving on to using protractors, volume, and the metric system.  Protractor sheet is due Wednesday, Oct. 14th.
Wednesday:  Go over protractor sheet.  Discuss volume and lab activities for this week.   Homework if students do not complete the in class lab.
Thursday:  Volume Lab.  Homework if students do not complete the in class lab.
Friday:  Begin Metric unit.  Door Pass!!! There will be lots of practice!!! 


8th Grade -
Monday:  No School! Hope you enjoyed your day!
Tuesday:  Discussed Test over Science Process Skills.  Students that recieved less than a C- need to see Mrs. Hunter this week for additional review either before school or at study hall. (This is the 3rd year they have been working on Science Process Skills.)  Discussed Chapter Preview to make sure students remembered the process.  Assignment: Preview Chapter 15.1 - three times tonight. Write 3 questions about the section that you would like answered or discussed in class.  Give an answer to each of your questions.  Due Wednesday.
Wednesday: Door Pass!!!  Notes on Chapter 15.1. Assignment- worksheet.  Begin making note cards for the chapter. 
Thursday:  Door Pass!!!  Go over worksheet.  Begin Chapter 15.2 Preview.  Notes and worskheet.   
Friday:  Continue with Chapter 15.
