6th Grade -
Monday: Continued to go over the area/volume worksheet. Assignment: Length Lab worksheet, Review-Do everything except the radius and diameter on the front - On the back complete everything except 5, 6, 7, 8, & 9. Triple Beam Balance worksheet,-6D Complete the mass side-everyone else complete both sides - Due Tuesday. Bring all of your metric papers and notes to class on Tuesday.(Planning on a Lab test on Thursday and a written test over metric measurement on Friday.)(Pending student readiness.) Look for updates this week!!!!
Tuesday:  Complete worksheets in class. Triple Beam Balance activities. 8th Grade:
Monday: Handed in the M & M colony packet. Planning Chapter 15 test for Friday. Experiments: celery/salt water-what effect will the salt have on the celery? How can we relate this to salt on the roads?  What if our bodies could not get rid of excess salt?  What about cells?  Osmosis experiment: How is water moved into a cell?  An egg?  Boy is the room going to smell the rest of the week!!!! Assignment: Vocab worksheet-Due tomorrow. Bring all of your Chapter 15 papers and notes to class on Tuesday.  All Alien stories need to be turned in by today!!!!  Look for updates this week!!!
Tuesday: Experiments: Observe celery/salt. Discuss. Observe osmosis experiment. Discuss & write observations.  Grade vocab worksheet. Assignment: Test on Friday?  Study!!!! Ask Questions!!!!!  Chapter review due Wednesday-I will give you the exact assignment today.  ***UPDATED!!!***WOW!!!  I forgot to hand out your assignment too!!! You may start on the Chapter review in your book just do 1-15 for now-we'll do the rest in class.  Study!!!
