****All Classes***During the week of 11/23-11/25 we just took the time to get everyone reorganized (mainly myself) with the material we are learning.The students should be studying the worksheets, vocabulary words, notes, and reviewing lab activities.The students were told they would be having a test later this week over the material we have been studying.  I am guessing the tests will be Thursday or Friday for the 6th graders and wednesday or Thursday for the 8th graders. Students may set up times to come in and study with me before school, during lunch, or during study hall.  Please remind your child to ask lots of questions to help them understand the material. 
6th Grade-
Monday- Handed back many papers!! Made time for questions.  Discussed What is science worksheet. Completing notes to make sure all material is covered before the test.  Assignment: Write-Describe how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.  Improvise if you are not able to eat peanut butter or don't eat jelly.  :-)  Science Process Skills Test will be Thursday or Friday.  Study!!!!!
Tuesday- Complete notes and start candle activity.   
Wednesday- Complete candle activity.  ***UPDATED*** Completing notes/review.  Students are asking lots of questions!!  :-) I do not feel the students are ready for their Science Process Skills test this Friday.  It is moved to next week.  Science Process Skills Test-postponed to Next week-possibly Tuesday!!!

Thursday- ***UPDATED***Starting Candle activity.  Review for Science Process Skills Test -?
Friday- ***UPDATED***Science Process Skills Test-postponed to Next week-possibly Tuesday or Wednesday. Worksheets are due Monday.  Study Questions are due Monday-Do not do the Assignment questions or activities.  All classes except 6D are to complete the candle activity data sheets. 

8th Grade-
Monday- Handed back many papers!! Made time for questions. Discussed shapes of viruses and bacteria. Began reviewing study questions for the cells test.  Assignment: Study for Cells and Viruses test that will be Wednesday or Thursday.  Study!!!!
Tuesday- Reviewing to make sure students have all notes and materials for the test. Test is Thursday!!!
Wednesday- Review!!! Test is Thursday!!!

Thursday- Yes the test is today!!!!  Cells and VirusesTest-? Or reviewing.
Friday- Cells and VirusesTest-?  ***UPDATED!!!*** No Homework!!!
